Consisting of 34 self-contained town houses and apartments with central reception and restaurant facilities, The Stables is able to function as an independent resort or managed apartments. The lightweight construction reflects an alpine architecture which uses timber and stone consistent with the National Parks design guidelines, while also being reflective of other developments in the Perisher Valley. The colours selected for the development ensure that it blends with the surrounding tree canopy, while its small scale roof forms are appropriate for the ridge top location.
